An estate of approximately 18 hectares, with outbuildings and equestrian facilities, 2.5 hours from Paris and 1.5 hours by TGV train and car.
In the main courtyard, the castle stands on one side, while an imposing outbuilding occupies the other.
The building is distinguished by its construction of stone and rendered rubble. The hipped slate roof is punctuated by four bull’s-eye windows on the facade facing the park and three attic dormers in the pediment on the courtyard side, accompanied by four other dormers.
Inside, the period decorations have been preserved: cartouches, sculpted medallions, overmantels, woodwork, marble, and stone frames bear witness to the refinement of the place. The vast noble rooms with their high ceilings contribute to the remarkable elegance of the whole.
In front of the eastern façade lies a topiary garden decorated with various elements: a dovecote, an orchard, a vegetable garden, ornamental trees, and a stream spanned by an old bridge flanked by the columns of a period porch.
The surrounding parkland combines meadows, large trees, and a small wood. To the west of the outbuildings, on the park side, there are facilities dedicated to equestrian activities: wooden paddocks, a riding school, and a rest area.
The entrance through the porch, the surroundings of the château, as well as its hall, the great hall, a dining room, and seven bedrooms are protected as Historic Monuments.
The well and the bridge also benefit from this status, while the exteriors of the outbuildings and the dovecote are listed as Historic Monuments.
