This remarkable château is located on the edge of southern Touraine, 30 km from Chambord and 2 hours 20 minutes from Paris. The 40-hectare estate is in the heart of a private, protected forest with no easements.
A village with basic amenities and shops is 5 minutes away. Romorantin-Lanthenay, the capital of Sologne and a resource town (SNCF train station), is 15 km away. The property is located 34 km and 45 km from the cities of Blois and Vierzon.
This castle is surrounded by a moat and bordered by a circular tower at each corner. It consists of two buildings, the lodge and the manor house. They are reached by a drawbridge, currently at rest, protected by a gatehouse decorated with a postern gate and topped by two towers. The Lodge: With a living area of approximately 420 m2.
The accommodation is organized around a main staircase located in the square tower.
