An estate of approximately 18 hectares, accompanied by outbuildings and equestrian facilities, 2.5 hours from Paris and 1.5 hours by TGV + car.
In the main courtyard, the château stands on one side, while an imposing outbuilding occupies the other.
The building is distinguished by its construction of rendered stone and rubble masonry. The hipped slate roof is punctuated by four bull’s-eye windows on the façade facing the park and three dormer windows in the courtyard-facing pediment, along with four other dormer windows.
Inside, the period decorations have been preserved: cartouches, sculpted medallions, overmantel mirrors, woodwork, marble, and stone frames testify to the refinement of the place. The vast, elegant rooms with their high ceilings contribute to the remarkable grandeur of the whole.
In front of the east façade lies a topiary garden adorned with a variety of features: a dovecote, an orchard, a vegetable garden, ornamental trees, and a stream spanned by an old bridge flanked by the columns of a period porch.
The surrounding parkland blends meadows, mature trees, and a small wood. To the west of the outbuildings, on the park side, are facilities dedicated to equestrian activities: wooden paddocks, a riding arena, and a resting area.
The entrance through the porch, the grounds of the château, its hall, the grand salon, a dining room, and seven bedrooms are protected as Historic Monuments.
The well and the bridge also benefit from this status, while the exteriors of the outbuildings and the dovecote are listed as Historic Monuments.
